Napkin Collage Checkbook Covers
November 19th, 2009I was so inspired by all the beautiful bookcovers from Judy’s Napkin Collage Class that I had to try it. I don’t have much playtime right now, so I planned to try something smaller. I decided to make a Checkbook cover out of Studio Cloth from USArtQuest. Well, I’m here to tell you it is fast, fun, and addicting. Everytime I see a pretty napkin, I can’t resist making one. I showed Dad how to make them, now he’s hooked too!

Dad made 6 of these gorgeous creations and I made have made 2 since Sunday! :]
Simplest Things….
November 19th, 2009It’s always nice to see a friendly face; especially a cute, fluffy one or two! Beau and Bijou came in to see us yesterday, with owner Rita and her hubby / doggy daddy!

Judy with 2 happy customers.

Dreamweavers Stencil Class
November 13th, 2009We have selected the day, time, and cards for Elaine Benedict’s Dreamweaver Stencil Class. We have decided on a masculine theme. On the bear card we will use flocking on paste and glitter. The bicycle card uses black glossy paste and Graphic 45 paper. On the elk card we will do a crackle paste technique. The fourth card will be using a dragonfly stencil, paste, and Pearl Ex powders. The date is Saturday, December 19 from 10 – 12. There are only 10 spots available and the cost is $28.
